1972年生まれ、大阪府出身。東大阪准看護学校中退し一般企業に就職。 １年後退職しグラフィックデザイン会社に営業職で就職したが、グラフィック製作に興味を持ち制作部へ異動、実務を通してグラフィックデザインを独学習得。 1993年父 植田孝、兄 植田嘉孝の命により1993年現在のウエダ美粧堂（株式会社ウエダ）へ入社し、営業及び生産、商品開発、デザイン、品質管理、生産管理等様々な業務を携わり現在は株式会社ウエダ美粧堂統括部長として様々な業務を担っている。
