１９４９年東京都生まれ。１９７２年慶応義塾大学経済学部卒業後、三越に入社。２２年間人事関連経験後、販売促進、店舗リニューアル等の業務に携わりました。その後、通信販売事業本部長、スタジオアルタ社長を経て、経営コンサルタントとして独立しましたが、一貫して、時代をライバルと考え、従来の延長線上での発想でなく、新手必勝を心がけてきました。現在、父が創業した町工場の社長をしていますが、基本的な姿勢は変わらず、好奇心を持って、時代が求めているものを生み出したいと情熱に燃えています。今回の純銅製のアシストフックもそうした経過から着想した商品です。
